Maybe, the world is eagerly waiting for the release of The Dark Knight Rises, and they should be because both The Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were wonderful movies. You may badmouth me, but I must say that Spiderman is my personal favorite Superhero.
‘The Amazing Spiderman’ is a masterful rendition of the original movie series and the comics. And the 3-D scenes when he slices through the air with the gigantic skyscrapers in background- priceless!! No other superhero- be it Superman, Batman, Hulk or Ironman would ever be able to give the viewers as much exhilaration as Spiderman does with his wide swings and wall-crawling tactics…..
The comic scenes are spot-on. The action sequences are mind blowing. This Spiderman has something which the previous one lagged. Style…
He pulls his girlfriend (Gwen Stacy) towards himself with a Spidey-Panache. Both Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone muster up a good performance to keep the movie going …
The costume is awesome- the fine detailing, lovely. And the graphics of this movie are quite high-tech.
Maybe you are sarcastic right now, Christopher Nolan lover, but I must say there is no point comparing Batman and Spiderman. Both are in a way different league.
What I like about Spiderman is that audience instantly gets emotionally-connected with him. The emotion is neither overdone as in Superman movies, nor is it totally lacking as in Ironman!!! While the Ironman and Batman evoke the young man that I happen to be, the Spiderman brings out the child within me….
I still remember the days when I, though thoroughly afraid, would fretfully try to approach a common wall spider, wishing that it would bite me and make me Spiderman!!!
No other Superhero had so much influenced me as Spiderman has…
And this movie makes my heart sore high up in the sky and glide along with the birds!!!
The story is of course the regular Good versus Bad kind. But it does manage to strike a chord between the super classy effects, awesome fights (all of them- inside the sewers, inside the school and above the Oscorp Tower) and the emotional content.
Though we miss ‘The Daily Bugle’ editor-in-chief!!!!!
This movie is a great way to spend your weekend…
He has a bullet in his leg…

He has a world to protect…
He has a girlfriend to save…

The stakes are high…
He stumbles over the short runway, ignoring the pain….
He brings out his hand…
He dives…
And then shoots at the nearest crane!!!!
And so goes the Amazing Spider man, to save the world once again!!!!!!!!!!
Because he knows that With Great powers comes Great Responsibilities….
