“There happens to be no point in communication, they are the souls to be pitied at in the literal sense of meaning.”

“What do you mean by that?” The president of Argzigot asked.

“They are vile and they seem to take pleasure or total fascination in other’s pains.”

“What the hell is this meeting about, to send information discourse, to establish a relationship, not to form biases on the basis of information that is being received, we should reciprocate the gesture.”

“With all due respect sir, it is underneath our dignity even to respond them.”

“Young man, we don’t talk irrationalities here. Speak 1+1=2 or shut up.”

“In the course of evolution, there are many plausible side effects while transforming from an animal to conscious being. And one of the most grotesque features of this evolution is the development of the so called pity in any being. There are many sort of response to a shocking event. Suppose someone you know, though not in direct blood relation, dies. How do you respond? How you respond to such sets of events have set parameters on any being’s consciousness. And these sorts of aliens have given us all sort of information that is to be obtained through their books and movies.”

“So how do you think they respond to such sort of event?”

“Animals are the best examples of the best sort of emotions. Slowly and steadily as we transform from animals to humans, some of these undergo rapid changes. First of all you are shocked to here about that event, which is a natural response of any form of conscious being existing in any of the multiple parallel universes; the fear of death takes anyone by most shocking rapidity and emergence. But how do you try to cope up with the fact of death in your mind, how do you try to soothe it, is the sort of parameter we have set. Now these being think that they indeed feel sad about such an event. But in actuality, they seem least concerned about it after sometimes. They are more interested in how it occurred, how many creatures were present, was it a murder, how many were present at the time of cremation, who was crying and who wasn’t, correcting others in his interpretation of the chain of events, arguing and debating in what actually occurred, and in what sequence, how were the mother and father and other blood relations reacting to such a news, was it shown of TV or in the newspaper, then blaming the fate or irresponsibility of the so deceased. They don’t feel sad in the actual sense of word, they feel pity, and they actually feel fascinated by what had occurred. These people seem to love the sort of yellow news that presents itself into the news papers. They love the scandals, the gruesome deaths, the devastating calamities. So actually they don’t try to steel their mind against the eventuality of death, but they sidetrack the fact of death by minute details of the event of the death of the other person, they wear the mask that they feel extremely sad, but actually they don’t. For them it is interesting. It is such a knotted twist of the troubled mind that evolved into such vicious consciousness, I only feel puked at the thought of existence of such a race.”

“Show us what you have found in your course of interpretation of events.”

He flicked in the direction of some minion who slid the projector, which brought everyone to its attention.

“Their planet is 180 light years away, so these signals are probably sent 180 years ago, it tells that they are in some year which they call as 2002. We have been receiving these signals from quite a few times. We have signals that date back to 1800. So we have deliberately waited for 200 years before deciding whether to answer them or not, so as to obtain more information about them, this is one of the film which is a real representation of the actual event which took place to an event which they refer to as the Holocaust, a vast massacre that took place during their world war 2.”

They went silent for some two and a half hours during which they watched the movie.

“So are my orders to establish no contact with a planet called earth in solar system of approximately 8 planets of a yellow star?”
